Our client is seeking two qualified Assembly Fitters for their workshop in Brendale.  As the Assembly Fitter, you will be responsible for the mechanical assembly of hydraulic cylinders and their components.

The position begins as a casual engagement, with the potential for permanent placement for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspection & Quality Control: Verify parts against technical drawings, report quality concerns, and perform regular maintenance.
• Assembly: Efficiently complete assigned jobs, verify component specifications, and ensure compliance with design guidelines.
• General: Contribute to process improvements, maintain supplies, comply with policies, and ensure a clean and organised work area.

To qualify for this role, you must have:

• Trade qualification (Fitter and Turner)
• Previous experience with hydraulics
• Attention to detail – working from samples.
• Communication – clear and accurate documentation and reporting.
• The willingness to take direction.
• The ability to work as part of a team or autonomously.
• Excellent time management and organisational skills
