Key Responsibilities:

• Fabricate components for plant renewal and improvement projects, ensuring compliance with company standards.
• Diagnose breakdowns, propose effective fabrication solutions, and conduct necessary repairs.
• Operate and optimise production equipment, resolving operational challenges as they arise.
• Prioritise safety by adhering to protocols and collaborating with supervisors.
• Maintain accurate records and coordinate tasks with subcontractors.
• Undertake positional welding, heavy structural work, and fabrication for fixed and mobile plants.
• Apply fabrication skills and welding expertise, including GMAW & FCAW techniques.
• Successfully complete weld tests, meeting our clients' high-quality standards.
• Operate safely within a modern workshop environment.
• Collaborate closely with team members to achieve project goals.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Trade Certificate in Fabrication.
• High-risk forklift and WP licence (highly desirable).
• Proficiency in reading technical drawings.
• Autonomous problem-solving skills.
• Safety-focused mindset with the ability to work at heights.
• Willingness to work overtime and transition to permanent employment.
• Unlimited working rights in Australia.
• Strong focus on safety and the ability to pass a weld test.
• Demonstrated experience in positional welding, heavy structural work, and fixed and mobile plant fabrication.
• Ability to pass drug and alcohol testing
