Draftsperson 

Location: Acacia Ridge
Pay Rate: $45.00 per hour + Overtime + Bonus
Full-Time Position | Immediate Start

CrewSELECT is currently seeking an experienced Draftsperson to join a well-established structural steel and metalwork business. This position would also suit a trade-qualified Boilermaker with strong drafting experience and proficiency in Advanced Steel and AutoCAD.

With plenty of overtime available, this role offers the potential to earn in excess of $100,000 per year while working within a supportive and growing team environment.

About the Role

Reporting to the Project Team, you will be responsible for producing detailed workshop drawings and supporting the successful delivery of structural steel and metalwork projects from concept through to fabrication.

Key Responsibilities

• Produce workshop drawings using Advanced Steel and AutoCAD
• Support Project Managers with drafting and technical information
• Liaise with clients regarding project design requirements
• Conduct site measurements, inspections and 3D scanning activities
• Ensure compliance with company quality systems and procedures

Skills & Experience

• Advanced Steel and AutoCAD experience (essential)
• Structural steel, fabrication or metalwork industry experience
• Boilermaker trade qualification highly regarded
• Strong attention to detail and drawing interpretation skills
• Current QLD Driver’s Licence and strong communication skills
