CrewSELECT are supporting our client in their search for an Electrical and Communications Technician to work on commercial projects across the Perth metro area.

The client are a dynamic business servicing across various sites in the Perth Metro area, specialising in electrical and communications installation works, as well as efficient reactive and preventative electrical maintenance services. Their team is comprised of experts dedicated to delivering high-quality services to their clients.

Job Description:
As an Electrical and Communications Technician, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks including power and lighting fault diagnosis and repair, installation of power and lighting cabling and equipment, investigation and repair of motor power and control circuits, electrical equipment replacements, testing and commissioning, and data and communications installations. The role requires the ability to work both autonomously and within a team environment.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience in assisting clients and conducting follow-ups.
  • Ability to work unsupervised and autonomously.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, including the ability to fault-find routine and reasonably
  • complex problems.
  • Sound knowledge of Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) practices.
  • Familiarity with AS 3000 and WAER regulations.
  • Well-presented, professional, and takes pride in work.
  • Punctual and reliable.
  • Friendly, positive, and courteous demeanor.
  • Strong focus on safety.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Competent planning and prioritisation skills.

Tickets and Licenses Required:

  • WA Electrical License
  • Construction White Card
  • Current Drivers Licence
  • Work Safely at Heights certification (desirable)
  • Elevated Work Platform (EWP) ticket over and under 11 meters (desirable)
