Lead Electrical Aerodrome Inspector

CrewSELECT are supporting their client in the search for a Lead Electrical Aerodrome Inspector to work in a leading Western Australian business in the public and private airport sector.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Inspections of airfield lighting systems.
  • Faultfinding and trouble shooting of airfield lighting systems.
  • Installation of airfield lighting supplementary components (e.g. AWIB Units, Solar Power Units, etc)
  • Provide airfield lighting consultancy/advice to operators and internal staff.
  • Development of airfield lighting products.
  • Assist with development of safety documentation.
  • Co-ordinate timing of works and resources with aerodrome electrician (construction).
  • Assist with pricing and installation of airfield lighting systems.

  • This role will predominantly be working at the Perth office – with occasional requirement travel to site while undertaking technical inspections.

About you:

  • Proactive thinking with experience conducting fault finding and providing qualify solutions.
  • Previous experience with airfield lighting systems, aviation and airports experience and radio communications experience is highly regarded.
  • Proven experience working on a variety of electrical systems.
  • Strong ability to plan, prioritise, and manage multiple tasks, projects and deadlines.
  • Ability to respond to changing schedules and situations.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Professional presentation and strong client management skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

Tickets and licenses:

  • WA Electrical License.
  • ASIC - Aviation Security Identification Card or ability to obtain.
  • Drivers license.
  • White card.
