About the role

CrewSELECT is recruiting Baler Machine Operators for an established production facility in Murarrie. This is an opportunity for reliable, hands-on candidates with production, manufacturing, recycling, sorting or warehouse experience to develop new skills, grow within the operation and work towards potential permanent employment.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate balers, wrapping machines and associated feed systems
• Monitor product quality and ensure finished products meet specifications
• Load and prepare finished products for transport
• Monitor production flow and report issues to supervisors
• Maintain accurate records and housekeeping standards

Qualifications/Experience required

• Production, manufacturing, recycling, sorting or warehouse experience
• Comfortable working around production machinery
• Reliable, safety-focused and willing to learn
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• LF Forklift Licence and experience highly regarded

What’s on offer

• Day shift: $40.94/hr + penalties + super (4:00am–12:00pm)
• Afternoon shift: $47.08/hr + penalties + super (2:00pm–10:00pm)

Work Environment & Requirements

• Dusty production environment requiring mandatory P2 respirator use
• Facial hair must comply with respirator fit requirements
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screening
• Steel cap boots and high-visibility workwear required
• Ongoing availability and appropriate Australian working rights
