We are currently seeking experienced Mechanical Fitters / Fitter Machinists for a high-value water treatment project in Rockhampton. This is a short-term commissioning role offering strong earning potential and the opportunity to work on critical infrastructure.

The Role
- Commissioning support across mechanical systems
- Punch listing, defect identification, and rectification
- Alignment, installation checks, and final fit-off
- Working on pumps, pump stations, piping and valve systems
- Assisting with pressure testing and system start-up
- Working closely with commissioning and engineering teams
About You
- Trade Qualified Mechanical Fitter or Fitter Machinist
- Strong experience in commissioning or project completion phases
- Background in water treatment, utilities, oil & gas, or heavy industry
- Ability to read and interpret drawings and P&IDs
- White Card
- Current driver’s licence
