About the Role

We seek a skilled Mechanical Tradesperson to join a dynamic team in a permanent, full-time role. This position is crucial in ensuring the reliable operation of work centres, facilities, and site equipment. You will play a key role in maintenance, fault finding, and continuous improvement initiatives while working in a safety-focused environment.

• Annual performance bonus – Up to 12% of base salary (paid in April)
• Short-term personal performance bonus – 4%–12% of base salary (based on Site Lead’s discretion)

Key Responsibilities

• Operate ERP systems for workflow management
• Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on mechanical equipment.
• Investigate equipment failures and implement corrective actions
• Maintain records of maintenance activities and spare parts inventory
• Apply risk management practices such as LOTO, Take 5, and Permit to Work
• Collaborate with internal teams and external contractors to support maintenance activities

What You Need

• Trade Qualification – Certificate III in Engineering (Mechanical Trade) or equivalent
• Experience with PLC-controlled filling and packaging equipment
• Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting abilities
• High-risk work licences – Forklift, Rigging & Dogging, EWP (desirable)
• Confined Space & Working at Heights certification (desirable)
• Basic machining, welding, and fabrication skills
• Ability to read P&ID diagrams, operating manuals, and engineering specifications
