Afternoon Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM

Are you looking for a role that combines plant operations with a hands-on approach in a safety-focused environment? We have an exciting Plant Runner opportunity for you to join a dynamic team on the Afternoon Shift. This temp-to-perm role offers an immediate start for the right candidate.

About the Role:

As a Plant Runner, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the Energy Plant by supporting the Plant Controller in various tasks, upholding safety standards, and assisting in meeting production targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Occupational Health, Safety, and Environment:
  • Assist in operating plant equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Perform routine plant inspections and monitor plant conditions, reporting any abnormalities.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety procedures, including Lock-Out-Tag-Out.
  • Report all safety-related incidents or near misses and assist with corrective actions.

Operations Support:

  • Meet daily, weekly, and monthly production targets by running materials and equipment as directed.
  • Help monitor inventory levels and manage the movement of products throughout the plant.
  • Perform routine maintenance and pre/post-operational checks on plant equipment.
  • Troubleshoot minor issues and escalate larger concerns to the Plant Controller or supervisor.A supportive

Leadership and Collaboration:

  • Support the Plant Controller and supervisor in day-to-day plant operations.
  • Proactively identify areas for plant improvement and report them to the supervisor.
  • Work closely with other team members to maintain a productive and safe environment.
  • About You:
  • Previous experience in a plant or manufacturing environment is preferred.
  • Ability to follow and implement safety procedures strictly.
  • Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
  • Physically fit and capable of handling plant materials and equipment.
