$40/hr + penalties | 9-day fortnight | Bibra Lake, WA
Want a hands-on workshop role where you can learn powder coating on the job? CrewSELECT is looking for a reliable Labourer / Trade Assistant to join a busy fabrication workshop in Bibra Lake.
You’ll work alongside boilermakers and sheet metal workers, getting fabricated parts ready for coating and helping keep the workshop running. If you enjoy practical work, take pride in getting the details right and are keen to learn, we’d like to hear from you.
What’s on offer
- $40 per hour plus penalties
- 9-day fortnight with 8–10-hour days
- Casual role with the opportunity to go permanent
- Overtime available when required
- Hands-on training in powder coating tasks with support from the workshop team
What you’ll do
- Move, prepare and hang fabricated sheet metal parts for powder coating
- Assist with other stages of the coating process under supervision
- Help boilermakers and sheet metal workers with general workshop duties
- Use workshop tools and equipment safely once trained
- Keep the coating area clean and organised and follow workshop safety procedures
What we’re looking for
- Reliable, punctual and willing to learn
- Comfortable with regular manual handling and hands-on workshop work
- Able to follow instructions, work safely and pay attention to detail
- A team player who can work overtime when required
Experience in powder coating, fabrication, sheet metal or a workshop is an advantage. If you’re new to powder coating, bring a good attitude and a willingness to learn.
