Senior Service and Maintenance Electrician

CrewSELECT requires a Senior Service and Maintenance Electrician to service on projects across the Perth metro area. 

One of Perth's leading plumbing, gas, electrical and maintenance business is expanding their operations and require another Senior Service and Maintenance Electrician to make their team full.

This will be a permanent full-time role and a genuine opportunity for someone who is looking for career progression. 

Job Overview:

  • Taking charge and working in a team. Your role is to provide solutions and make decisions in the best interest for the business, client and workers.
  • Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of electrical systems in commercial and residential buildings, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations.
  • Diagnose electrical malfunctions and perform repairs or replacements as needed.
  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, control devices, and equipment.
  • Collaborate with other team members, including plumbers and maintenance technicians, to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
  • Troubleshoot electrical issues and develop solutions to ensure long-term system integrity.
  • Accurately document all maintenance and repair work performed, including materials used, time spent, and any additional recommendations.
  • Have an understanding of of industry advancements, new technologies, and electrical codes to ensure compliance and enhance the company's service offerings.
  • Provide guidance and support to junior electricians and apprentices, sharing knowledge and promoting continuous learning.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring that tools, equipment, and materials are properly stored and accounted for.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, providing clear explanations of work performed and addressing any questions or concerns

About you:

  • Minimum of 5 years of commercial service and maintenance experience.
  • Proven experience leading a team and providing quality solutions.
  • Mentoring and teaching skills, with excellent communication both written and verbal.

Tickets and Licenses Required:

  • WA Electrical License.
  • LVR/CPR Certificate – within 12 months.
  • Driver's License.
