Trade Assistant with Forklift Licence – Day & Night Shift Opportunities

Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced and reliable Trade Assistant with a forklift licence to join our client's team for day and night shift operations in a short-term opportunity. The ideal candidate will have a background in quarry maintenance, strong hands-on skills, and the ability to work autonomously.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with maintenance and repair work on quarry machinery, including conveyor belts and pumps.
• Safely operate and maintain tools and equipment.
• Ensure equipment is in safe working condition and perform preventative maintenance.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and assist in resolving them.
• Follow all safety protocols and guidelines, including working at heights (WAH) and using Elevated Work Platforms (EWP).

Essential Qualifications & Skills:

• Experience in quarry operations or a similar environment.
• Forklift Licence (essential).
• Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision.
• Tool proficiency and mechanical aptitude.
• Elevated Work Platform (EWP) certification (desirable).
• Working at Heights (WAH) certification (desirable).
