Are you a skilled Trade Assistant seeking new opportunities? Look no further! We're currently hiring Trade Assistants at various locations across Brisbane, QLD. Join dynamic teams and contribute to exciting projects in diverse industries.

Some duties and responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Assist tradespeople with general tasks to facilitate project completion.
  • Operate machinery and power tools confidently, focusing on building heavy machinery.
  • Clean, prepare, and maintain work areas and equipment to maintain cleanliness and organisation on-site and in the workshop.
  • Independently perform assigned duties while adhering to project timelines.
  • Follow rigorous workplace health and safety protocols to prevent accidents and maintain a secure working environment.
  • Drive forklifts as required for various tasks.
  • Conduct measurements and marking tasks.
  • Perform inspections and ensure quality control.
  • Ideal candidates should have prior experience operating metal-cutting machinery such as drop or band saws.
  • Efficiently handle deliveries and undertake various general tasks.
  • Perform hose assembly and spray painting.

Requirements: To excel in this role and join our clients' teams, you should meet the following requirements:

  • Mechanical aptitude and confidence in using tools and machinery.
  • Hold a valid forklift licence and possess previous forklift driving experience.
  • Ability to work under the guidance of senior staff and independently when required.
  • Reliability, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic.
  • Commitment to workplace health and safety guidelines.
  • Unlimited working rights in Australia.
  • Manual driver's licence.
  • Construction Industry Card.
  • Ability to pass pre-employment tests
  • Ability to work overtime as required.
  • Proficiency in manual handling techniques.
  • Prior involvement in a manufacturing workshop or a similar setting.
  • A positive and adaptable attitude towards work.
